Tractor Sales down by 1.37% during 2021-22
with impetus from the Government, every year the sale of tractors is expected to increase, however during 2021-22,the total sales declined to 639119 units as compared to that of 6,44,965 units during2020-21.
- Mahindra & Mahindra : The company has achieved total sales of 1,45,855 units during 2021-22 as compared to 149718 units in the previous year.
- Swaraj : The sales for the FY’22 i.e. 1,04,625 are less than the sales of FY’21 i.e. 106455. Hopefully, these high heads of the tractor industry get back on their high sale quotient.
- International Tractors (Sonalika tractors) : sold 77,334 units during2021-22 compared to 81022 its sales for FY’21.
- TAFE Ltd (Massey Ferguson) : The sales for FY’22 of TAFE Ltd are 73,628 in FY’22 and 75640 in FY’21
- Escorts : One of the oldest player of tractor industry has disappointed . The sales for FY’22 stand at 66,518 as compared to 70,695 units for the year FY’21.
- John Deere : John Deere has strong uptrend for the year FY’22. The figure stands to be 52,426 and 50,072.
- Eicher Tractors : The company has sold 38,345 units in FY’22 compared to 40,821 units in FY’21
- CNH Industrial Pvt Ltd : 25,044 units in FY’22 compared to 24,507 units in FY’21.
- Kubota : 14,402 units sold in FY’22 as compared to 11,376 in FY’21
- Other brands : VST showed the decline in sales for FY’22 but the other brands like Force, Captain and Indo Farm marked a rise in sales for FY’22.
