MINI Cooper SE bookings re-open in India: Priced at Rs 50.90 lakh
MINI India has announced that the bookings for its Cooper SE are now open in India once again. The MINI Cooper SE was launched in India in February this year at Rs 47.20 lakh and all 30 units were sold out even before the launch.The great popularity of the MINI Electric in such a short time proves its position as the frontrunner in the transformation towards electric mobility. Now, the bookings have re-opened online on MINI India’s official website for 40 units and it has been priced at Rs 50.90 lakh, ex-showroom.
New Features : The MINI Cooper SE now gets some new features. This three-door electric hatchback also gets new sports seats, upholstery, and seat heating function for the driver and front passenge. For instance, it sports adaptive LED headlights, a comfort access system to lock/unlock the car without taking out the key, a driving & parking assistant feature, and more.
The powertrain & Battery power : The MINI Cooper SE gets a 32.6 kWh lithium-ion battery and the company claims that it will offer a driving range of 270 km on a single charge. The battery pack is coupled with an electric motor that churns out 181 bhp and 270 Nm of peak torque. It can do 0-100 kmph in 7.3 seconds (claimed) and has an electronically limited top speed of 150 kmph.
