TVS Ronin launched in India
After long wait, TVS has launched the Ronin 225 retro scrambler in Inda at Rs 1.49 lakh onwards, ex-showroom. The TVS Ronin is unlike any other product TVS is built on a new chassis, features a 225 cc, single-cylinder air and oil-cooled engine which is not offered in any other TVS motorcycle at the moment.
TVS Ronin engine specifications
The TVS Ronin features a 225 cc, single-cylinder air and oil-cooled, fuel-injected motor that produces 20 bhp and 19.9 Nm of peak torque with the help of a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is not offered in any other TVS motorcycle at the moment, and TVS claims a top speed of 120 kmph.

Starting with the design, the new TVS Ronin is built on a new chassis, and features a muscular fuel tank, a flat seat, a single round headlight, knobby tyres, and tight-fitting fenders, giving the Ronin a retro scrambler look. The side-slung low exhaust and a bash plate further add to the motorcycle’s styling.
TVS Ronin features and equipment
The TVS Ronin features USD forks up front, a monoshock at the rear, disc brakes at both ends with a dual-channel ABS with two ride modes: Urban and Rain, LED lighting all around, alloy wheels, and a T-shaped DRL, similar to the Ntorq’s design, giving the Ronin an unmistakable identity.
The TVS Ronin gets a single pod digital instrument cluster that offers connected features such as phone connectivity via Bluetooth to answer and reject calls, cancel notofications, and navigate among others. The TVS Ronin also gets a side stand warning light and voice assist.
The TVS Ronin will be offered in three variants: Single Tone, Dual Tone, and Triple Tone. The pricing is as follows:

TVS Ronin competition
The retro scrambler segment is slowly witnessing more motorcycles and currently, it sees competition between the Yamaha FZ-X and the Honda CB350 RS. However, the Ronin slots right in this segment and will soon be joined by the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
