Yamaha unveils track exclusive R1 GYTR motorcycle
Yamaha Europe has announced the all-new R1 GYTR, a track-exclusive offering. The bike packs quite some goodies to make it faster around the track. Let’s take a look at it.
It’s no surprise that the Japanese bikemaker introduced the R1 GYTR just days after Aprilia unveiled the RSV4 XTrenta.
The R1 GYTR is equipped with an Akrapovic race muffler, mid-pipe, AIS plug set, engine cover, GYTR ECU, wiring harness, GYTR ABS Emulator, 15/42T 520 sprockets, GYTR R-Series 520 racing chain, Brembo Z04 brake pads, GYTR Stainless Steel Brake Line Set and more.
Going ahead, Yamaha will also launch GYTR Pro race parts. The package will comprise more than 400 parts developed by GYTR. Not to mention, Valentino Rossi too had a set of GYTR parts dubbed as GYTR Pro VR46 for his practice race bike.
The Pro package will include a new swingarm, large capacity, and low gravity fuel tank, carbon rear subframe, a new dashboard, Marelli electronics, air ducts for brake calipers, a side steering damper with bracket and clamp, and the list goes on. Yamaha will reveal the official asking price for the GYTR parts later this year.
Interested buyers can only purchase the R1 GYTR from GYTR Pro Shops, all located overseas
