The Volkswagen Up! is perhaps the company's most ambitious project to invade the small car market worldwide. The two door variant which will be limited to the European market, while India will get the four-door version of the Up! The Indian Up! will also benefit from a longer wheelbase than the two-door which will improve interior room. Being a budget offering, the quality of plastics inside is not as good as other VW cars. Powering the Up! is a 1.0-litre petrol engine which will also be offered in India. While the engine bay does have enough space to accommodate the larger 1.2-litre engine, VW is yet to announce anything about this option for the Indian marketplace.
