Honda unveils the N7X SUV Today ! [Sep 21, 2021]
Honda has long been waiting to unvil its three-row offering to the global audience, in the form of the Honda N7X. That wait now ends as the final production-spec version of the N7X 7-seater SUV has been presented on September 21, 2021.
As per reports available to BigGaddi.com, Honda would also be getting the 7-seater N7X to India very soon. Honda is believed to replace their BR-V SUV with a mid-size SUV for the Indian market, based on the same platform as the 5th-gen City.
Since the N7X SUV is based on the 5th-gen Honda City, this should mean that the car will feature the 1.5-litre petrol with 121PS and 145 Nm and the 1.5-litre diesel with 100PS and 200 Nm powertrains. The latter should have a manual transmission, while the petrol should have both manual and CVT transmission choices.
Exteriors :
The Honda N7X has slim LED headlamps with an LED brow as well as a large chrome band over the grille. The grille carries chrome slats while the bumper is heavily stylized with more a brushed silver, sharp cuts and inserts. Wide LED taillamps, an indented boot lid, and more aggressive cladding can be found towards the tail-end of the SUV.
Interiors :
The N7X's interiors indicate that the dashboard is quite similar to those of the India-spec City. A folding second row, independent AC control in the third row, US ports for all passengers, sunroof, climate control, a 7-inch touchscreen with navigation and Android Auto/Apple Carplay, and a semi-digital instrument cluster are just a few of the amenities to look for.
There is enough seats for six or seven people. A five-seater variant might be explored to compete with SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta and the Skoda Kushaq.
Price Estime :
The SUV's common foundations could make production easier in India, allowing Honda to sell the 7-seater aggressively, in the Rs 12 to 16 lakh range.
